Shall I do weight training / body bulding along with m.arts?

I am 35 started doing martial arts.

I am not flexible, fat and slow.

How do I train to over come these.

Shall I do weight training / body bulding along with m.arts? if yes how to do.

please give a training schedule.

if you have the time. then by all means go ahead. in matter of fact, its really healthy to do so but do it at a slow place since your not flexible, fat and slow. I assume you are new to these so take it easy by starting off with cardio and light weight. have a set schedule of what to eat for pre and post workout.

What do you girls prefer to see on a guy?

I am not asking this to sound concieted, but rather to help me know what I should most be focusing on as far as muscle bulding goes.
-Since I know everyone is going to be different ( and tell me that everyone is different ^.^ ), I’ll adress my question in a more personal tone.

1: Do you prefer to see a guy with a more defined Chest (pecs), Abs, or Arms?

2: If a guy had an "okay" face, would his body, if in fairly nice shape, help balance his lack of facial beauty?

3: Do muscular men seem less approachable then normal sized guys?

4: Do you prefer shaved or hairy ( in a managable, not jungly form ) Arm, Pecs, and Abs?

Thanks for your answers. Just curious to see how girls feel about these specific areas.
Some people seemed to have mis-interpereted my first question.

- I am asking which of these three muscle groups girls most prefer.

1. either chest or abs
2. yes i guess more like 50-50 therefore is average >.<
3. some, yes.
4. if he is hairy, i want him to stay that way! no never ever shaved! but i also like non-hairy guys. lol it doesn’t really matter

Am i having an orgasim when this happenes?

I really feel like im havign an orgasim when this happenes, it feels amazing.. but its very short.. i can feel it bulding up its like it hits a spot and from there its a sensation that feel really good and the more time goes on it feels even better then my body feel hotter and hotter i can feel my heart beat then it gets to a point where my eyes roll back in my head and i cant help but breath heavy it goes through my intire body.. but it doesnt last for very long like about 10 or 15 secnds.. and i hear all this that you feel like your about to pee.. i dont get that feeling.. is this an orgasim or .. somthing else?

Many people don’t get the "going to pee" feeling.

As an orgasm approaches, your muscle tension increases and you may begin breathing harder and sweating a little. When it is about to begin, you may feel like you have to pee, but you won’t. Then, it begins when the muscles in your lower abdomen tense involuntarily like when you’re about to sneeze. Next, those same muscles begin contracting and relaxing involuntarily. With each contraction you feel incredible pleasure. You have about 10 contractions in about 10 seconds. After it is over, you will feel very relaxed and will just want to lie there a few minutes.

need to lose weight. help.?

I had my son about 5 months ago. I was losing weight and almost reached my goal weight then bam I found out I was pregnant. So I stopped my diet and gained all the weight back. I am now 5′3 180pounds.

Ugh I am overweight. I don’t feel comfortable and confident with my body. I barely have sex with my hubby because I hate seeing myself naked. *although he doesn’t have a problem with it.

Is there some one out there with a personal story.

I need a STEP by STEP diet plane and exersize plan. And what food I should and should not eat though out the day. [breakfast, lunch, dinner]

I don’t want to be a person who will give up and keep bulding up the weight, that’s why I am asking for help? i want to be fit for my son

If no personal experience maybe a website that has a step by step plan?

I highly recommend self.com but there are other magazines self is free to non-subscribers (I think). It has good food and good exercise. I have not been pregnant but there are exercises you can do maybe some on that website or even a dvd.

Have you ever felt you can’t workout hard enough?

Do you consider yourself a weak or a strong person?

If your only a weakling physically, then you still have large potential.
But if your a weakling mentally, you don’t have much potential.

Remember that our mind controls everything.

Under a stressful workout, your body sends signals to your brain to tell you stop because the stress is causing your body to overwork itself. Your mind can override your brain. Depending on how long you can ignore your impulses to quit, the stronger you will be. But it takes a strong mind to ignore those impulses.

1. You don’t need to be full of energy or full of inspiration to be ready for a vigorous workout. You can be dead tired and still maximize an incredible workout.

2. Don’t workout to complete a set number of reps. If you always just stop at a certain amount of work, then you’re limiting yourself. Work out until you fail. For example, do the pushup where you slowly rise after 10 seconds of struggle, then immediately try to do another one and accept failure.
If it helps you, try to think of an amount of repitions that would be difficult to complete, then once you reach that amount, do extra until you fail.

3. Always do the workout that you would rather not do. If you’ve decided you want to do a chest workout, and favor the benchpress, then think of the least enjoyable chest workout you can do. If you hate pushups, then do those instead of benchpressing. This applies to any muscle group. By favoring one workout we are by default choosing the one that is easier and more comfortable. Since when has ease and comfort helped to make someone stronger?

4. Don’t ever think of quitting. The longer you can suppress the thought of quitting from entering your mind, the longer you will endure.

5. Mix up your workouts. Muscles will adapt over time to your workouts. In essence, before you work that muscle group, your muscles are already ready for the work you are about to perfom. Never let your muscles adapt to any kind of workout. That way the muscle bulding and stengthening will increase more efficiently.

6. Test your mind. Before you attempt a high intensity workout, decide that you will challenge your limits to see what you’re really capable of. If you quit early, then you will have to ask yourself if that’s how weak you really are.

7. Be indifferent towards pain or exhaustion. If you don’t mind, it don’t matter.

8. a workout that is considered hard to you, is considered easy to someone else. It’s not because you feel exhaustion or pain any differently than the person who thinks it’s easy, but because the other person has had experience with much harder workouts.

9. Don’t make excuses. your tired, your sore, you didnt eat enough breakfast. You will in fact perform less action if you have any of the above, but you are just as capable of performing with the same intensity as if you weren’t.

10. Don’t ever be satisfied with your workouts. If you feel satisfied, there’s no chance you will do any more work. If you don’t feel satisfied, you will always do more.

11. If you feel like your about to die, or lose consciousness, then challenge yourself to go so far as to experience that. I gurantee you will quit those things happen.

12. Don’t mess up your workouts with junk food. Eat healthy and you will see better results, better health, and strength. If you feel the urge to eat junk food, just know that what you are craving is a small high from seretonin released from fats and sugars in the food. That’s why junky food tastes so good, but ruins a healthy body.

13. Workout with high intensity. Minimize rest between sets and do go too slow on your repitions. You can workout quickly, but remember to keep perfect form.

14. If you felt no pain, how many more repitions would you be capable of?

15. a strong mind is a strong body
