I hate to burst your bubble but supplements are useless..they do nothing to enhance your strength or physique..

Its during ur time WHEN u competed…. No one at the time has the MASS, SHAPE, Seperation and posing down to a science in the 80’s in the MR. Olympia like Lee Haney. My 1st bodybuliding mag I bought had him featued him and his AWESOME back workout. WOW!!! I wanted a back like him… and people have complemented me on my back the most!!!

haney outweighed …
haney outweighed yates by 7 pounds at the 91 olympia..yates had better legs..haney had a better upper body..and haney had something that yates never had..shape..yate’s chest was so narrow that it gave his body the appearence of a U taper instead of a V taper..and lebrada and vince taylor both placed top 5 in 92..haney woulda beat both those guys hands down..and whos to say haney wouldnt have kept improving? he was only 32 when he retired..smallest waist ever for a 250 pound plus guy..

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not hatin’ on Haney. I have the utmost respect for him as a bodybuilder and as a person. But there were guys competing in the early to mid 90s that were as big as him and had even more definition. Could he have improved his legs and/or gotten as hard as Yates did? I doubt it. But now that the judges seem to be favoring shape over sheer size, the physique he displayed in his heyday would probably do well.

your funny..he wouldnt have made the top 5 in 92..ya right..yates made improvements from 92 to 93 but not from 91 to 92..haney would have easily won in 92 at the age of 33..

I see people saying …
I see people saying he didn’t deserve the 8 championships. Compared to who in his era. Compared to the guys today of course he is no competition because they put more in their bodies and the sport has evolved. So who is in his era was better? You can’t compare this guy , Arnold, or Sergio to theses guys today. In a few years you probably will be saying Jay and Ronnie didn’t deserve theirs…lol
