    i heard stiff leg good mornings are good for the hams and bent legs works the back more. Dead lift is a more compound exercise so there are more benefits.

    you have to alternate every five weeks and occasionly have a deload week. and remember to keep a wide stance and bend your knees as much as you need to move heavy weight.

    haha yea, he did 135, his body weight!! I think he had done that weight before, I’m not 100% on that, but I think it’s just because he didn’t warm up well enough before-hand.

    He hurt it because he didn’t warm up that day I believe, and he was in a hurry so he rushed his work-out.

    There is nothing wrong with good-mornings, just be sure to warm-up properly first, and be smart about how you do the lift. Proper form + Proper weight and you should be fine. Personally, I would start very light with this exercise and build up the weight over time.

    Its always best to start with light weight until you get your form right. There is some soreness from working the muscles, but its very easy to tell that apart from actual back pain. Having a lot of muscle in on the back does help prevent injuries.

    Hi,
    i have backpain problems, i’m not sure if i can do that exercise. But is it ok if i start with no weight at all? And with time go progressive in weight? Because i want to train my back muscles to, some ppl tell me that good back muscles are good to prevent back pain. i’m only little bit affraid that this exercise will bring me more pain, or is that temporary?
