    in a way that is right. Low weight lots of reps. you got the reps part, but obviously the weight is relatively low compared to what you could do with low repetitions. Soo high reps, high repetitions, relatively lower weight.

    @Plopy187 yes, but this is mostly true for people who either don’t lift weights, and people who are allready at an extremely low bodyfat %. Most people aren’t even able to do outrageous amounts of cardio. If you think there’s a risk of losing muscle, I would suggest cutting back on the cardio slightly. Most fitness models do about 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week which is plenty.

    @Faustesh depends on what you mean by strength. If you’re reffering to your one rep max on each exersize, then the fastest way to increase it is to do heavy weight, low rep, and many sets. I don’t consider 8 reps to be low rep, I’m talking about 3-4 repetitions each set. Then do up to 8 sets per exersize. That’s how powerlifters work out, and that’s what’s gonna make you strong. I personally don’t like that style of training because there is more to fitness than 1 rep max.

    LOL im 17 and i lift 20 pounds 120 times sets of 20(bicepcurls) alternating arms and the only break inbetween is the alternation of arms. Everyone one is like “yo you want to get sronger lift a lot of weight like 8 times do four sets.” Wrong, if you want to get stronger you lift a lot of weight as heavy as you can as many times as you can. this will not make you look big but it will make you strong
