need to lose weight. help.?
I had my son about 5 months ago. I was losing weight and almost reached my goal weight then bam I found out I was pregnant. So I stopped my diet and gained all the weight back. I am now 5′3 180pounds.
Ugh I am overweight. I don’t feel comfortable and confident with my body. I barely have sex with my hubby because I hate seeing myself naked. *although he doesn’t have a problem with it.
Is there some one out there with a personal story.
I need a STEP by STEP diet plane and exersize plan. And what food I should and should not eat though out the day. [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
I don’t want to be a person who will give up and keep bulding up the weight, that’s why I am asking for help? i want to be fit for my son
If no personal experience maybe a website that has a step by step plan?
Thanks godbless.
I highly recommend self.com but there are other magazines self is free to non-subscribers (I think). It has good food and good exercise. I have not been pregnant but there are exercises you can do maybe some on that website or even a dvd.

The way to cure Obesity is not always by lowering your Daily Calories, and here’s why…
Haven’t you ever wondered why some people are naturally overweight while other people can remain skinny while eating twice as much?
The truth is that your total "daily calories" is not the deciding factor in whether you’re overweight or skinny.
You see, there are 3 main types of calories that you can eat each day.
First, there is protein…
Next, there are carbohydrates (carbs)…
And finally there are fat calories…
The truth is that your body doesn’t pay attention to how many daily calories are eaten, but rather your body pays attention to how much of EACH TYPE of calorie that you consume. continue read this article at : http://10pounds10days.blogspot.com/2009/01/obesity-daily-calories.html

Ultimately, losing weight comes down to one key principle: Burn more calories than you consume. The steps that follow won’t work if you have a thousand more calories coming into your body on a daily basis than you have going out. Lay the foundation for weight loss with these practices:
1- Count calories and keep a food diary.
2- Go on a diet.
3- Cut down on sugar, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats and saturated fats.
4- Burn more calories by exercising
Drink lots of water( or fruit cordials with water).
, eat your fruits and vegetables , avoid coke and other fuzzy drinks ,for whole-grain food (oatmeal, whole-grain cereal, whole-grain pasta, brown rice and barley)
You need to eat foods high in carbs since they are your body’s main source of energy. The trick is to choose the right carbs. Simple carbs like sugar and processed flour are quickly absorbed by the body’s digestive system. This causes a kind of carb overload, and your body releases huge amounts of insulin to combat the overload. Not only is the excess insulin bad on your heart, but it encourages weight gain. Insulin is the main hormone in your body responsible for fat storage. Eat plenty of carbs, but eat carbs that are slowly digested by the body like whole grain flour, hearty vegetables, oats, and unprocessed grains like brown rice. These kinds of food not only contain complex carbs that are slowly digested by the body, but are usually higher in vitamins and other nutrients that are beneficial to the body and they are higher in fiber which keeps your digestive system running smoothly.
Have smaller portions of the food you enjoy.Eat less lunch than usual. For example, make your own sandwich and limit the use of margarine/butter and full-fat mayonnaise (store-bought sandwiches often contain both).
as for exercise , you’ll burn more calories with cardio (aerobic) exercise than with strength or resistance training.

You don’t need a diet. You need a change in your lifestyle. You can start by just jogging and eating a little less. If you feel hungry just drink water and if you still feel hungry you can eat. Eat slowly and stop as soon as you think you’re full. For breakfast I usually eat two eggs and one piece of toast. Lunch should be your biggest meal. I really like soup and a sandwich, sometimes two sandwiches. Have a snack about an hour after lunch and don’t eat a lot for dinner. For dessert you can make jello with fruit in it. Switch fatty foods with lesser calorie foods and healthier foods. Diets are bad because as soon as you stop your metabolism will have slowed down and you will gain the weight easier than when you started it. I love healthy food now, I think it tastes better than fries and things like that.

I’ll tell you my story. I am 5′2" and have lost about 30lbs. It started out as I was always a bored eater, If I wasn’t keeping my mind busy then I would eat. One day I decided to join curves, so I did and was really devoted to it, I lost one pound and 10 inches my first month, after that I just started to workout on my own curves got boring, always doing the same workout everyday. With my food intake, I didn’t eat out, and stopped drinking soda, and didn’t eat any super sugar foods like candy, chocolate, cakes, things like that. I never really changed my diet more than that. Sometimes I would crash, but everyone does so I would start again the next day, which is the most important part if you mess up one day don’t think you have ruined your whole plan. The next thing I learned is that you really really need to drink water. When you don’t drink water toxins and other bad things for the body don’t leave, they end up in your fat cells, if you try to lose weight without drinking water it doesn’t work becasue you body wont burn fat with things in it, that it doesn’t want back in the body, if there is enough water in your system it will burn the fat, and the stuff in the cells get filtered out normally,( I got that knowledge from research) true or not, water is great and I was feeling better when I drank water. The another important thing is don’t ever give up on yourself, I hated counting calories so I just ate smaller portions and less junk food and it is hard. You can’t lose weight without exercise, even if it starts out with a 15 min walk each day, It works together. Diets just don’t work, and don’t base weight loss on the scale, base it on how you feel each day It was a much better motivator to feel better than to see numbers go down. Like I said before my first month I only lost 1lb but 10 inches, so go off of how you feel and how yoru clothes fit. Hope this could help.If I can do it you can do it. Never Give up even if you make a mistake. It is a challenge it weight doesn’t come on over night so it doesn’t come off that way either. Good luck I wish you well in your journey. I am still continueing my journey I have about 30lbs more to lose we can do it!

You don’t need a step by step plan. You just need a plan. It’s going to sound like beating a dead horse, but that’s because its the core for everything else because it works. Diet and exercise. 45 minutes a day of cardio every day, or every other day if you cant keep up with every day. Cardio is essentially exercise that keeps your heart rate around 120-145 bpm. This is the ideal zone for fat burning. A heart rate of 150-165 tends to burn equal amounts of protein and fat, and 170+ hardly burns any fat. Therefore the key is to "keep your heart rate up, but not racing." Good activities to do are jogging or walking, bicycling, in house cardio routines (if you dont have any exercise tapes, you can likely find some amateur exercise videos on youtube or expert village).
There is another adage about "building muscle burns fat." This is true because the more muscle you have the more energy (fat) is being used when you use them. For this most men go to the gym and lift weights because its sexy for men to be buff. A lot of people don’t find bu women to be attactive, but greatly prefer toned women, so another thing you can do is yoga or Pilates. Both will build and tone your muscle but not so much that you look like you’ve been popping steroids.
As far as eating goes don’t skip any meals. A lot of people come to the conclusion that if they don’t eat then they will become skinny. This doesn’t work because the moment that you fall from your normal eating routines your body will begin to store extra calories because it doesnt know when its next meal will be. So if you provide a regular flow of nourishment to your body it will focus on usage rather than storage. Here you have two options. You can eat 3 normal meals per day or 6 small meals per day. Some people swear by the 6 small meals because it provides a more steady stream of calories throughout the day, but not everyone is able to beak off the traditional 3 meals. Breakfast should be some form of carbs, such as granola or cereal, and balance that out with a cup of yogurt and perhaps a piece of fruit. I myself do honey nut cheerios, vanilla yogurt and a banana, let lunch be light but filling such as a salad, and dinner should be a full meal, protein, veggies, optional carbs.
You have to do a great deal of your own planning and research as only you know what you like to eat. I could sit here and tell you what to eat for each meal but that could make you miserable, and miserable people don’t lose fat. Customize your meals so that you’re getting complex carbs(complex sugars) early in the day, which is essential towards being able to perform throughout the day. Also know that protein is important because it regulates the use and distribution of energy (fats and sugars), and healthy simple sugars from fruits are good for a quick source of energy, as they take less time to break down than the complex carbs.
The last thing I have to add is to make sure you are getting regular sleep. Losing weight is 100% based on your metabolism, and that process is very easily knocked out of whack. Regularity of sleep, mood and attitude, and nutrition all affect your metabolism and its ability to burn energy, and to keep it doing what it does best you need to get enough sleep so that your body can perform as it was meant to.

If you want to lose weight you should follow a low carb diet and eliminate all sugars, flour and processed foods from your diet. Also eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism moving.

Hi
1. Take extra virgin coconut oil
This is a healthy fat that helps my clients lose a quick 5-6 pounds in less than 2 weeks. The best way to take it… 1 tablespoon 2-3 times a day on an empty stomach.
It can work other ways to, but the results from my clients prove that this is the best way for the vast majority of people to take it to get the best possible results.
If you eat "pretty" healthy, start out taking it 3 times a day. If you don’t eat so good, stick with taking it just 2 times a day. I personally get the best results taking this twice a day… between breakfast and lunch… and lunch and dinner.
Oh, a side benefit. It makes your skin and hair look a lot nicer too!
2. Eat as many apples and bananas everyday
You can choose just about any fruits and vegetables and this will work out great for weight loss, but I chose these 2 because they’re relatively high in fiber and very portable. So if you’re busy and on-the-go, these are perfect to take with you.
3. Walk… but walk on an incline grade
Basically, walking is fine. But if you want to "SUPERCHARGE" your weight loss, you’ll need to walk uphill. A simple 15 degree incline works perfectly. Since most of us don’t have a hill conveniently nearby, find a treadmill that inclines and walk on it at least 4 times a week.
4. Spin Like a Child
This is a new, REVOLUTIONARY exercise that helps with weight loss because of how it affects (and balances) your hormones. Since your hormones play a big role in your weight, it’s a must-do exercise. All you do, spin like a child.
Your health is the most important thing you have, so at the very least give these "lose weight tips" a try for a few weeks. They are some of the best ways to lose weight fast.
