Reeves was too … Reeves was too shredded to be natural. If you look at his “offseason” pics compared to competition shots it’s obvious. Offseason he’s got that smoothe doughboy 40 lbs heavier look with little definition and suddenly he’s razor sharp a month later. I talked to George Helmer, one of Reeves closest friends and the man who runs his business and Helmer said Reeves would usually start training for a big show only 1 month out.
True d-bol was … True d-bol was available during Reeves era, but I do think Reeves was natural, he was 6 1 and 215 lbs, not that big…hell, I am a 5 11 220 lb natural bber with similar measurements as Reeves had, except the tiny waist, and I don’t have the genetics Reeves had..Reg Park also was about the same height & wt as Reeves was as a natural bber, until he started using d-bol and bulked up to 240 lb
If you think not … If you think not you are naive about the iron game. Steve Reeves was one of the first guys using high levels of dianoabol and he introduced it to others.
Nice vid. I enjoyed … Nice vid. I enjoyed this montage of many legends. It was nice to see Pete Grymkowski in there. I thought people had forgotten him. Boyer Coe was missing though? Nice vid, thx.
I think Clancy Ross … I think Clancy Ross is still alive,,,God Bless Him,,,,he didn’t have an easy start to life,,and served his Country in WW2. Reports indicate that he was a strong man and performed exacting workouts. A great credit to the bodybuilding world.
This is fantastic, … This is fantastic, as an avid admirer of Body builders and a work out hound myself I loved this. I wish the Body building world would go back to this instead of juiced up monsters.
