    What amount of upper body exercise should i do?
    Most of my exercise is based around upper body. At the moment im not quite old enough for the weights at my gym.
    Because of this i do free weights and press ups/sit ups.

    I've heard that your muscles build better if you rest up for a few days. That they bulk during the time off.

    Is this true and can someone propose a basic schedule with regards to exercise/rest ratio?

    ok im only 17 ok and last year i started the gym cos im allowed lol but before i could go i was at home doing free weights on mon – wed and fri – sat so resting thursday and sundays. Depending on what type of upper body you want then you also have to control your diet. If you only have free weights then try mensfitnessmagazine.co.uk and there are loads of stuff you can do at home to get that upper body you want. good luck : )
