Apparently this is what I’m wondering, how should I go about toning muscle for my body.

Instead of building muscle how do I go about toning my body to the full extent….

And with the toning, same with face?

Is it even possible to get a chizzled face/look, or is it natural?

Should I do a body building workout, or a strength workout if I am a fighter?

I just joined this fighting club in my neighbor hood. I am not bad fighter, but I cannot take hard punches. So I was told that I have to workout. Anyway, should I do a strength workout or a body building (muscle building) workout?

Don’t bulk up. Very big muscles tend to consume a lot of energy and oxygen. You’ll gas out easily. Focus on strength and also cardio workouts.

I am starting a bodybuilding routine for 4 months to get in shape for starting the gym in the summer. I am 15 and will be 16 in the summer. I am 9 and a half stone.

70 minute workouts on sunday, wednesday and friday and I play football on sunday and sometimes on a thursday aswell for around an hour.

This is my workout:

ABS= side bends (6.8 kg dumbbell) 1 set of 15
twisting crunches-1 set of 30
crunches -1 set of 20
toe reaches-1 set of 20

BICEPS= hammer curls (4.6 kg dumbbells) 1 set of 20
concentration curls (6.8 kg dumbbells) 1 set of 10
barbell curls (11.4 kg barbell) 1 set of 10

CHEST= dumbell Flys (6.8 kg dumbbells) 2 sets of 10
bench press (13.8 or 11.4 kg barbell) 2 sets of 10

FOREARMS = bench curls (palms facing up) (11.4 kg barbell) 2 sets of maxium reps)

LEGS = deadlifts, half squats and lunges
SHOULDERS =front raises, press.

SHRUGS, DIPS

not the greatest if your trying to build muscle, are you planning to do this all in one session? no back or tricep exercises? and too much isolation on the biceps.

try this, its a pretty standard routine and hits all the main muscle groups for bodybuilding, heavy weights an low reps is what you want for optimum muscle building

I am 35 started doing martial arts.

I am not flexible, fat and slow.

How do I train to over come these.

Shall I do weight training / body bulding along with m.arts? if yes how to do.

please give a training schedule.

if you have the time. then by all means go ahead. in matter of fact, its really healthy to do so but do it at a slow place since your not flexible, fat and slow. I assume you are new to these so take it easy by starting off with cardio and light weight. have a set schedule of what to eat for pre and post workout.

Handling Toxicity of Steroids in Body Building

It is a clear fact that the second best wonder drug after the cure for small pox is definitely steroids. The wonders that it could do to a person’s physique is incredible and words alone can not describe it. I have a couple of friends who have taken them in their training, and the difference in their physique was very noticeable even after a couple of months of using them.

I watched one guy grow from being skinny to attaining 12 inch biceps and six packs which every guy would die for; if this wasn’t a miracle then I don’t know what a miracle is.

They have grown to be a household name due to the fact that they are really effective in changing a person’s body structure, take glucosamine for instance, if used for duration of 6 to 10 months the results will be very visible. If glucosamine intake is incorporated with high intensity training in the gym the effect on the muscles will be tremendous. The only major concern in using glucosamine is toxicity as this could lead to circulatory, respiratory and liver conditions.
